Andrew has been Group General Manager of InvoCare Australia Ltd for the last 11 years, responsible for operations, strategy and profitability. InvoCare is an Australian Public company and is the Asia Pacific’s largest provider of Funeral Services and emergency and incident management response services. 
Andrew has a history of commitment to the community services sector. He is currently a non executive director of a number of community service organisations including SMP Life Skills 2 Work Group, Alzheimer’s Australia and the Lions International Save Sight Foundation and the Eye Institute in Nedlands.
Andrew was recognised with a Lions International Honour Award for Outstanding Community Service for his work in conceiving and implementing programs that have benefited people with sight impairments in developing countries.
Andrew is also an active member of the St Vincent De Paul Society.   His work with St Vinnie’s included membership of the first ever steering committee and leadership team to establish the ‘Fred’s Van’ project in support of people experiencing homelessness in Adelaide. He has also lead similar projects and represented Vinnie’s in both Queensland and Western Australia.
Before joining InvoCare, Andrew was a Catholic Priest in Adelaide for six years. Prior to his ordination, Andrew spent a year living and working in Calcutta with the order founded by Mother Teresa, Missionaries of Charity.
Born in South Australia, Andrew is a keen Adelaide Crows supporter. He gained a Bachelors Degree in Social Science and Theology at Flinders University in Adelaide, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at QUT in Brisbane.
St Bart’s has been blessed to have the services of Lynne Evans for the past 13 years and she will be greatly missed. Andrew will commence at St Bart’s on 26 March and Lynne plans to retire on 6 July 2012.
