James Watson Hostel –Residential Aged Care
The James Watson Hostel provides low care permanent accommodation for 20 homeless, or at risk of homelessness, men.
We provide an individual approach and 24 hour care and support for Residents with complex needs.
Our Services Include:
- Single and/or twin share ensuited rooms.
- Individual care planning and personal care.
- Access on site to a GP and allied health services.
- Individual and group activity programs.
- Nutritious meals reviewed regularly by a dietician.
- Qualified and skilled staff experienced in managing challenging behaviours.
Conditions of Entry

An Aged Care Client Record (ACCR) is completed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) referring the person to low care residential accommodation, either on respite or as a permanent entry.

Noel Bodycoat Community Aged Care – Noel Bodycoat Care (NBC)
Noel Bodycoat Care provides planned community aged care services to assist older people to remain living independently in the community.
Objective
To assist and provide support for people to live independently for as long as possible in their accommodation.
Conditions of Entry
People wishing to access the Noel Bodycoat Care program must be:

Approved by the Aged Care Assessment Team;

Referred by a GP or from the hospital;

Financially and socially disadvantaged;

Live in designated regions allocated by the Department of Health and Aging to the Noel Bodycoat Care Program.

Willing to pay a nominal fee for service.

Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged Program (ACHA)
The ACHA Program aims to assist frail, low income older people who are renting, live in insecure housing, or who are homeless, to remain in the community through accessing appropriate housing linked community aged care.
Objective
To assist, advocate for and support vulnerable people to:

Find affordable and secure accommodation;

Link into a range of community and government support and advocacy services, including primary and secondary health care, housing, meals on wheels and community aged care program.
Condition of Entry
By referral for the prematurely aged, over 50 years, frail, low income and in insecure accommodation or homeless.
