About the role
Our Community Recovery Villages provide short-term community based traditional or respite accommodation for adults aged 18 years and older who are living with a mental health challenge.
Our Recovery Support Workers provide support to our consumers in their recovery journey, helping them to build independence and meet individual goals while reviewing and monitoring progress.
We have a full time opportunity for a Recovery Support Workers based at our village in Stirling, working 38 hours per week on a fixed roster from Monday to Sunday.
Additionally there is the requirement to participate in the overnight sleepover shift.
Taking into consideration the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant the base salary offered for this position spans from $60,188 to $65,662 base salary plus superannuation.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need a tertiary qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or related discipline (minimum Cert III) or working towards a degree in a related field together with demonstrated experience.
In addition, our ideal candidate:
- Is a great communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Has knowledge and understanding of wellness, recovery and trauma informed principles
- Can take initiative, problem solve and work autonomously as well as work well under pressure

- A current satisfactory National Police Certificate
- A First Aid Certificate
- A current WA “C” Class Drivers Licence
