A group of teachers and children in school uniform gather around a pile of cardboard boxes, each holding zip-lock bags filled with goodies.

Christ Church Grammar School’s Peter Moyes Centre provides a secure and caring learning environment for boys with a range of disabilities, and we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet and chat with a group of them recently! The boys visited our Volunteer Hub with arms full of donations for our Christmas Hamper drive.

Raising awareness of homelessness and empowering the boys in the Senior School to make a positive difference in the community, the school recently launched the Humble Project. Collecting everyday essentials such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, bar soap, shaving razors, shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitiser and roll-on deodorant, these boys have done an amazing job over the past couple of months to deliver these goodies to St Bart’s.

The Humble Project very much reflects the school’s values that exemplify ‘service before self’, and we couldn’t be more pleased that they have chosen to collaborate with St Bart’s on this occasion.

Thank you boys!
