About the role
As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be playing a critical role in ensuring a safe, secure and supported environment for all consumers who are experiencing homelessness, mental health, AOD, and other personal/social challenges. The Recovery Support Worker is involved in the consumer’s recovery journey, by supporting them to achieve individual goals and outcomes, including but not limited to independent living skills, community participation, improving physical and mental health and wellbeing, and transitioning to independent living.
You will be working on a fixed roster, across five days, Monday through to Sunday. These shifts include morning shifts, 7am-3pm, as well as afternoon shifts, 230 – 1030pm. Additionally you will be required to participate in the overnight, Off Duty On Call sleep over, where you will be required to assist consumers as needed.
Taking into consideration the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant the base salary offered for this position spans from $60,188 to $65,662 base salary plus superannuation.
About you
If you are someone who is recovery focused, has relevant experience, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on developing strong rapport with consumers and their carers/family members, we want to hear from you! We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering support services to individuals in a supported accommodation environment.
In order to be successful you will need to have a qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or related discipline (minimum Cert III), or working towards a degree in a related field together with experience.

- A current satisfactory National Police Certificate
- A First Aid Certificate
- A current WA “C” Class Drivers Licence
