A management and governance specialist, Hamish has a long history of working with not for profit organisations. He has held numerous positions in Anglican organisations, including the Anglican Church Diocese of Perth, since 2004 and is currently WA State Manager of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
In addition to a strong interest in history, contemporary art, ethics and governance, Hamish has been a lay member of human research ethics committees for over 20 years and is a member of the WA Reproductive Technology Council. A member of the Board since 2010, Hamish was appointed Deputy Chair in March 2019.
