A professional Company Director and specialist in corporate restructuring and finance, Mel adds over 40 years of varied experience to the St Bart’s Board.
Mel Ashton
Mel holds a number of non-executive director roles in different sectors, and he is currently Chairman of Venture Minerals Ltd and Quintis (Australia) Pty Ltd and a Director of Aurora Labs Ltd and Labyrinth Resources.
Mel is former Chair of Cullen Wines (Australia) Pty Ltd, former Director of The Hawaiian Group, and previous Acting CEO of Royal Flying Doctor Service. He has also been President and Director of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and Vice President and Director of Fremantle Football Club Ltd.
Mel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia. Mel is Chair of our Business Development Committee.
