Thursday                             2.30pm – 10.30pm

Friday                                   2.30pm – 10.30pm

+ sleep shift 10.30pm – 7.00am as rostered

Roster 2 – part time, 30.4 hours a week

Tuesday                              7.00am – 3.00pm

Wednesday                       2.30pm – 10.30pm

Thursday                             2.30pm – 10.30pm

Saturday                             2.30pm – 10.30pm

+ sleep shift 10.30pm – 7.00am as rostered

About Us

St Bart’s is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation founded in 1963 as a small homeless shelter for men. For over 60 years, we have been standing by the side of vulnerable Western Australians experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, mental health challenges, trauma and hardship. Since our foundation, we have evolved into a larger organisation that provides progressive, person-centred, and trauma-informed recovery support to people in need, regardless of background, age, gender, or ethnicity.

About the role

Based in East Perth at our Women’s Service, the Recovery Support Worker provides support to our consumers who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping and other associated health, personal and social challenges to start or build on their recovery journey while reviewing and monitoring their progress.

Taking into consideration the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant the base salary offered for this position spans from $66,025 to $72,038 per year pro rata, plus appropriate penalties, superannuation and salary sacrifice.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need at least a Certificate III in Community Services, Mental Health or related discipline or be working towards a degree in a related field together with demonstrated experience.

In addition, our ideal candidate:

  • Is a great communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Has knowledge and understanding of wellness, recovery and trauma informed principles
  • Can take initiative, problem solve and work autonomously as well as work well under pressure

  • A current satisfactory National Police Certificate
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • A current WA “C” Class Drivers Licence
